Fannie Roselle Jones was born October 8,1885. in Clarke County, Iowa, daughter of Manfred Rushing and Nettie Osgood Rushing
She attended schools in Clarke County and on February 25,1901, was married to Thomas A. Jones in Bethany, Missouri.
Four children were born to this union. She worked most of her life as a nurse in this area.

Survivors include a son, Albert and wife, Lena of Osceola; sister, Ida Henson of Omaha, Nebraska; daughters-in-law,
Wilma Wilson and husband, Henry of Osceola and Lillie Soper of Osceola; 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a few great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Cora Faye at age two weeks; husband, Thomas in 1937; sons, James T Jones and Marvin Jones; and three sisters. Cora Surbuer, Stella Reynolds and Beatrice Proctor.

Fannie Roselle Jones, 92, died at the Clarke County Public Hospital in Osceola on Sunday, April 16 , 1978. Services were held from the Webster-Kale Funeral Home in Osceola on Wednesday, April 19. at 1:30 p m. with the Rev. Jerry Prouty conducting the funeral. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola.
