Died Friday

Michael Alexander Porrazzo, 65, died at the Clarke County Public Hospital in Osceola on Friday, November 11, 1977. He resided at Eastgate Trailer Court in Osceola.

Funeral services were conducted from the Webster-Kale Funeral Home in Osceola on Monday, November 14, at 9 a.m. with Father Joseph McDonnell officiating. Interment was in Bethel Chapel Cemetery, Clarke County.

Michael Alexander Porrazzo was born January 16, 1912, in Inwood, New York, son of Gaetano Porrazzo and Antonia Minichello Porrazzo. He attended schools in New York and on July 19, 1974, was married to Agnes LaChance in Stephentown, New York.

He worked with the Clarke Arts Institute and was formerly with the New York Railroad for 28 years.

Survivors include his wife, Agnes of Osceola; step-daughter, Tonya Harger and husband Eugene of Woodburn; stepdaughter, Sandra Nugent and husband, Robert of Williamstown, Massachusetts; stepdaughter Joan Dunn and husband Joseph of Stephentown, New York; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
