Obituary.

Juanita Nancy Pease, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Pease was born in Leon, Iowa, August 18th, 1900, and departed this life July 8th, 1927 being at the time of her death 26 years, 10 months and 20 days. She was united in marriage to Joseph Scott, Aug. 13, 1922. To this union was born one daughter Ferndelene Nancy. She was a graduate of the Osceola high school class of 1919. She united with the Christian church in Osceola at the age of 18 after her marriage transferring her membership to the Methodist Protestant church of Osceola, where she remained a true and faithful member. Having found her Savior in early life she presented her child to the Lord, having it baptized in the M. P. Church.

She leaves to mourn her loss a true and faithful husband, a loving father and mother, a beautiful daughter, who did all that love could do to relieve her suffering and to cheer her thru the hours while fighting life's battle. Also other relatives besides a host of friends.

One sister Fern preceded her in death June 9th, 1919.

During her illness she always had words of comfort to others. She bore her trials without a murmur, leaning upon Him from day to day who through life has been her Comfort and Joy.

As the last hour drew near with a kiss thrown to her husband and baby she calmly fell to sleep in the arms of Him who long ago has said, Come unto me all ye that are weary and heavy laden, I will give you rest.

Funeral services were held at the M. P. church Sunday conducted by Rev. B. E. Williamson and interment was made at Maple Hill cemetery.
