Mrs. L. J. Farley Dead

Lauretta J. Farley aged seventy five years, died at her home in this city Monday morning. Mother Farley has been in failing health for some time, and has been bedfast for more than a year. All this time she has been tenderly cared for by Mrs. Mary Goodrich McCamick, who has made her home with her for the past five years. She is among the oldest residents of this community, having made her home in Clarke county since two years of age. She is survived by three sons all of this county, namely Lon, John and Herman. Funeral services were held from the Christian church in this city on Wednesday at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Warner Muir and interment followed at Maple Hill. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in the loss of the mother.
