Helen B. Crabb, daughter of Roscoe and Edna Lowe Preston was born in Clarke County, Iowa on August 21, 1918 and passed away at the Greater Community Hospital in Creston, Iowa on June 22, 1986 at the age of 67 years, 10 months and one day.
She was educated in the Clarke County schools. On January 7, 1939 Helen was married to Ralph Crabb at Bethany, Missouri and two children were born to this union.
Helen operated Club Cafe in Osceola for one year and was employed at the Regal Inn Motel for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Kathryn.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Ralph of Murray; son Dick Crabb and wife, Carolyn of Dacono, Colorado; daughter, Karen Mathes and husband Roland of Murray; two grandchildren, Jeffrey LaMasters and Cory Mathes; two great grandchildren, Michael and Debbie; one sister, Gertrude Gardner of Beardstown, Illinois, as well as other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 25, 1986 at 10:30 a.m. at the Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with Pastor Marty Burgus of Murray officiating. Interment was at the Woodburn cemetery, Woodburn.
