Cleva Dorothy Frey of Osceola, died Thursday, December 5, 1985 at her place of residence, the Osceola Leisure Manor. Services were held Sunday, December 8 at the Kale Funeral home in Osceola with the Rev Neville Clayton officiating the 2:00 p.m. rites. Interment was in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola.

Cleva Dorothy Frey was born on September 27, 1899 in Clarke County to Jacob B. Linder and Berta Ann Clark Linder. She attended schools in Clarke County and married Raymond C. Frey on May 16, 1923 in Newton. Three children were born to this union. Cleva was a member of the Smile A While Club, the Four Corner Club and the First Christian Church in Osceola.

Surviving relatives include a son, Robert Frey and wife, Pat of Osceola, three grandchildren; Scott Frey, Mark Frey and Rae Anne Marner; three great grandchildren; Che Frey, Sarah Ann Marner and Kathryn Alexis Marner, and one brother, Merlin Linder of Mounty Pleasant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Son, Raymond Richard and daughter Barbara Ann.
