Ivan E. Benbow, 58, of Plaudit Way, died Saturday at Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was a native of Osceola, Iowa, a retired sales representative, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Disabled American Veterans and Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Jewell Wort; his father, Lafe B. Benbow of Afton, Iowa; and four brothers, Galen and Wayne Benbow, both of Afton, Keith Benbow of Raleigh, N.C., and Kenny Benbow of Cincinnati. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman's, 7300 Southside Drive, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday.
