Dies Friday

Iva Nellie Kierulff, 84, of Ft. Myers, Florida, died at Ft. Myers, Florida on Friday, December 7, 1979. Services were held Tuesday, December 11, from the Webster-Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with the Rev. Roy Ives officiating at the 1:30 p.m. funeral. Interment was in Fremont Cemetery in Clarke County.

Iva Nellie Kierulff was born February 28, 1895, in Clarke County, Iowa, daughter of Jesse Benbow and Mary Proctor Benbow. She attended schools in Clarke County and Iowa State University in Ames. She was married to William E. Kierulff on July 20, 1919 She worked as a as telephone operator as well as a housewife. She was a member of the Frame Church in rural Clarke County.

Survivors include her husband, William of Ft. Myers, Florida, brother, Lafe Benbow of Afton; nephews, Galen A. Benbow of Osceola, Keith W. Benbow of Raleigh, North Carolina; Kenneth C. Benbow of Cincinnati, Ohio, Wayne E. Benbow of Creston, Ivan E. Benbow of Louisville, Kentucky, many cousins and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lon in 1947.
