Berry John McCarl, 81, of Murray died of a heart attack December 19 at Clarke County Hospital. Services were December 22 at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, and burial was in Lacelle Cemetery in Clarke County.Mr. McCarl was a lifelong Clarke County resident and a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Flora; six daughters, Norma Jean Black of Prescott, Georgia Spangler of Des Moines, Virginia Hargis of Mitchellville and Elizabeth McCarl, Patricia Patton and Edna Sue Crain, all of Murray; two sons, Donald of Murray and Mitchell of Roland; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
