BERNARD L. ALLEN
Bernard Lowell Allen, 68, of Murray died October 19, 1993 at University Hospital in Iowa City, where he had undergone surgery. Services were held October 22 at Murray United Methodist Church, with burial in Murray Cemetery.

Mr. Allen was born in Clarke County and had been a barber in Murray more than 30 years. He was a Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Murray Volunteer Fire Department, Surprise Masonic Lodge, Prize chapter of Order of the Eastern Star, and Murray American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; a brother, Edwin of Pleasant Hill; and a stepbrother, Ross Wetzel, and stepsister, Marie Welker, both of Murray.
