Charles Arnold, 83, Murray
Charles Alfred Arnold, 83, of Murray, died of a heart ailment June 29, 2000, at Iowa Methodist Church in Osceola, where he was a member, with burial in Murray Cemetery.

Mr. Arnold was born in Murray and had lived there most of his life. He was a retired self-employed electrician, plumber and furnace repairperson. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion and Murray Lions Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Arnold of Altoona; two sons, Bill of Murray and Bob of Leon; two sisters, Twyla Jeter of Murray and Gerry Johnson of Hutchison, Kan.; and three grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
