Gail "Chub" Goodrich, son of Frank and Josephine Tolley Goodrich, was born August 3, 1936 in Indianola, Iowa. He died April 26, 2003 at the Clarke County Hospital in Osceola, Iowa at the age of 66 years.

Chub attended school at Clarke Community Schools. He married Shirley Hensley December 23, 1955 in Nebraska City, Nebraska and 2 children were born to this union.

Chub worked for Clarke County secondary roads and retired in 1996. He played softball for Woodburn and baseball for Osceola in his younger days. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting, going to auctions and spending time with family and friends.

Chub was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Shirley; daughter Tammy of Osceola; grandson Erik Morris of Des Moines; mother-in-law, Darlene Alexander of Osceola and brother-in-law Ron Hensley of Olathe, Kansas, nieces, nephews other relatives as well as a host of friends.
