Veda Mae Goodrich, daughter of Jefferson Daniel and LaVona Joy (Allen) Daniel was born November 12, 1929 in Des Moines, Iowa and passed from this life August 12, 2010 at her home in Osceola, Iowa at 80 years of age.

Veda graduated from Osceola High School in 1948. She was united in marriage to Andrew Morris Goodrich Jr. on April 2, 1949 in Leon, Iowa; three children blessed this union.

A lifetime resident of Osceola, Veda did upholstery from her home for 30 years. She loved to play cards and was a member of several card clubs (Bridge) and bowling leagues. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, ceramics and jigsaw puzzles. Veda liked to camp and enjoyed leaving Iowa winters for many years. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Those relatives who preceded Veda in death were her parents; in-laws; sisters-in-law, LaVera in infancy and Margie Goodrich; numerous aunts and uncles.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Andy Goodrich Jr. of Osceola; son, Andrew Allen Goodrich (Ankqua) of Indianola; daughter, Deborah Lynn Stump (Craig) of Osceola; son, Terry Lee Goodrich of Des Moines; grandchildren, Amanda Morris (Ryan) of Carlisle, Kenneth Paxton of Des Moines, Anthony Paxton (Teena) of Des Moines, Benjamin Goodrich (Tabitha) of Indianola, Matthew (Julie)McGill of Martensdale, Jennifer Havard (Troy) of Des Moines, Kim Henaman (Brady) of Des Moines, Lisa Farnsworth (Scott) of Lamoni, Jorden Goodrich of Norwalk, Lindsey Goodrich of Des Moines; 18 great grandchildren; aunts, Millie Tucker and Mona Allen of Washington, IA; brother-in-law, Dewey Goodrich of Pleasantville; other relatives and friends.
