“Died A Her Home Here Late Tuesday; Rites From Miller Funeral Home; Burial In Last Chance”

“Funeral services will be held from the Miller Funeral home Friday, Jan. 20, for Mrs. Hattie Elmore who died at her home here late Tuesday. The Rev. C.C. Miller will officiate at the rites starting at 2 p.m. with burial to be made in the Last Chance cemetery.

Mrs. Elmore was 89 years old at the time of her death. She has been an Oseola resident for the past 34 years and has lived at her home at 308 South Delaware street for the past five years.

Survivors include two sons, Vern and Atley of Osceola. A third son, Clyde, prededed her in death on Dec. 15 last year.”
