“Claude Westfall Is Dead Here”
Claude Eugene Westfall, 65, of 804 Eleventh st., West Des Moines, died Thursday at Iowa Methodist Hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage Tuesday at his home.

Mr. Westfall, a native of Weldon, retired last March after working 44 years for Central Life Assurance Co. here.

Services are being arranged at the Dunn funeral Home.

Surviving are his widow, Madge, and a sister, Mrs. Alma Wallace of Hollywood, Cal.”

“Claude Westfall Rites Saturday”

“Services for Claude Eugene Westfall, 65, of 804 Eleventh st., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dunn’s Funeral Home with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield.

Mr. Westfall died of a stroke at Iowa Methodist Hospital Thursday.

He was an employe of Central Life Assurance Society of Des Moines 44 years and was supervisor of the files and mail section at the time of his retirement last March.

He was a veteran of World War I; a member of the West Des Moines Methodist Church; Capital Masonic Lodge; Des Moines Consistory, AASR; and Shrine Za-Ga-Zig Temple.”

Claude Eugene Westfall was born in Green Bay Twp., Clarke County, Iowa.
