“Funeral services were held April 15 at Webster-Kale in Osceola for Shirley Evans, daughter of A. J. and Wilma Westfall Burkhardt, who died at Los Angeles, California on April 12. Burial was in the Hebron Cemetery. Relatives who came to attend the funeral were her daughter, Sharon Dorbo of North Hollywood, California, brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Winston Burkhardt of Damascus, Maryland and sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Doescher of Libertyville, Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. Burkhardt and Mrs. Darbo stayed over night with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Keeler. They are cousins of Mrs. Keeler. Sincere sympathy is extended to the family.”

“Shirley Evans Buried at Weldon”

“Shirley Evans, 51, died in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, April 12, 1975. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, April 15, at 1 p.m. from the Webster-Kale Funeral Home in Oseola with the Rev. Ivan Bys officiating. Interment was in Hebron Cemetery, Weldon.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Dorbo of North Hollywood, California; and a brother, Winston Burkhardt of Damascus, Maryland.”
