“Frank Wallace”

Frankie Ellis, son of Frank C. and Siddie F. Wallace, was born in Clarke county, on a farm near Weldon, April 4, 1897 and departed this life Noverber 26, 1948, at the age of 51 years, 7 months and 22 days.

He grew to manhood in the Hebron vacinity where he attended school and Sunday school.

He served his country during World War I in Company I 87th Infantry and was honorable discharged January 18, 1919.

On December 12, 1925 he was married to Edith Mabel Adams. To this union two children were born, Ellsworth Eugene, who died at the age of 16 days and Arlene Frances, age six years.

Since his marriage Wallace has resided in Weldon and Osceola.

He has been employed by the Clarke Clectric Cooperative, Inc. here for a year. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife and daughter Arlene who was his devoted pal; his aged mother; one sister Ada of Weldon; three brothers, Loyd M., Leland S. of Weldon and Dace D. of Turner, Oregon; several nieces, nephew, other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, one sister Mabel O. Chambers and Consula S. who died in infancy.

Frankie loved his home and his family. He will be missed by his wife and daughter, and a host of friends.”
