The death of Mrs. Hazel McClure on Oct. 17th at her home in Murray, came as a great shock to her friends and family. She was seemingly in perfect health, being about her housework, getting dinner ready, when she was stricken with some unknown malady, suffering intense agony until her death, which occurred at 8:30 that evening.
She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Dowding, living near Lorimor and a daughter in law of J. V. McClure of Winterset. The death of this young woman at the early age of 22 years is most sad and the bereaved family have the deep sympathy of all.
