Mrs. Fred Sinn was called to Iowa City Monday evening by the critical illness of her son, Charles, who was in the hospital. The little boy passed away before she reached him. The body was brought home Tuesday afternoon, accompanied by his parents.

Funeral services were held at the home Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. R. L. Raybourn, pastor of the Christian church, and the little form was laid to rest in the Field cemetery.

Charles William, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sinn, was born Dec. 31, 1918 near Osceola in Clarke county, Iowa, and departed this life at Iowa City, Jan. 21, 1924, aged 5 years and 21 days. He had been sick for several months and in October, 1923 was taken to the hospital at Osceola for treatment, where he remained 21 days. He was then taken to the University hospital at Iowa City, where the end came on Jan. 21.

Besides his parents, he leaves to mourn his death, a sister, Bernice; two brothers, John and Leo; a grandmother, Mrs. W. R. Judd of Des Moines and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was conducted Thursday afternoon by Rev. R. L. Raybourn and the remains laid to rest in the Fields cemetery.
