Well thats an interesting project Debbie ! Anything is possible but there is a Gladys Butler who was a teacher in the early 1900's to mid 1900's in Chickasaw. She is always referred to as either just Gladys Butler or Miss (Ms) Gladys Butler. Taught school for sure at Butler school, 4 miles west of Nashua and Flint school 4 miles west and 2 miles south (could be same school with two names I guess). Couldn't find a record of her being married.
Then I found this page which has Gladys Butler Morgan on it as an Art Instructor - http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/la/caddo/history/schools/centalumni.txt .
What makes it even more puzzling is that in 1920 and 1930 census, I cannot find a Gladys Butler or Gladys Morgan in the whole state even though she was teaching close to Nashua.
Hopefully someone who lives there or lived there in mid 1900's will read your request.
Wish I could have helped more. Very interesting.
Sincerely,
Mike Peterson
