Hi! I saw your query dated 2005 regarding a piece of art by Gladys Butler Morgan. Did you ever locate any information about her? If not I would be glad to help. I have been researching Mrs. morgan and her husband Arthur for going on 3 years now. The story is quite interesting, yet sadly little is know of her life's work.

I am currently working on a book as well as a website. Hold on to that painting. Her work once sold for upwards of a few thousand dollars, and I intend to make the world (or as many people as I can) aware of her talent and accomplishments, as it seems that she has been completely erased from history.
