In the 1919 History of Chickasaw Co, Iowa, there are two listings P J Commerford and Charles Commerford families. P J had four children, Genevieve who died young of influenza, and John, Mildred and Eugene all at home in the year 1919. P J Commerford was a merchant in Jerico,Chickasaw Co. Charles had only girls in the family.
