OBITUARY

Died at her home in Lawler December 5th, 1901, Mrs. Barbara V. Allison in the forty-third year of her age.

Barbara V. Leuenburger was born in Winneskeik county, Sept. 21st, 1859, and became the wife of John Allison April 16th, 1877. Six boys and three girls were born to them and all survive the mother but one and all of them stood by her when the summons came for her to leave the scenes of earth for a home in the beyond.

She was a kind and loving mother a good wife and neighbor and will be sadly missed in the home by the husband and children. The N. W. A. of which order the husband is a member, did all in their power for their afflicted Neighbor and made the blow just as light for him as loving words and kind acts could. The body was laid to rest in the bosom of mother earth to await the call of Him who said: "I am the resurrection and the life."
