David Sinton was born in ArMah county, Ireland, March 7, 1811 and came to Illinois in 1810 and settled on a farm near Chemung, where ho lived until five years ago when he came and made his some with his daughter, Mrs. James Ramsey near Lawler. He died Nov. 6, 1901, at the advanced age of 90 years and eight months.

In his short stay Mr. Sinton made many friends in Chickasaw county, by whom he will be much missed. He leaves five children to mourn his loss.

The mourning friends and relatives have the sympathy of all. The funeral services were held at the home Nov. 9 and the body was taken to Illinois for burial.
