Obituary of Mrs. Adolphus Anderson.

We give below a short sketch of the life of Mrs. Anderson, mention of whose death was made last week.

Maria Reed was born Feb. 11, 1860, in Henry county, Illinois. She was married to Adolphus Anderson Jan, 11, 1872, and came to Iowa with her husband in April, 1880.

She was the mother of ten children, nine of whom survive her.

The funeral was held at the Baptist church in Jacksonville, Friday, Feb. 24, conducted by Rev. W. Lease. Despite the cold there was a large attendance of the neighbors and friends of tbs family who gathered to pay their last tribute to the memory of one who was loved and respected by all.
