Simerson
The body of A. A. Simerson was brought here from Osage for burial. The funeral was held from the Congregational church Thursday morning under auspices of the local camp M W. of A., of which order deceased was a member.
Mr. Simerson had been sufferer from consumption for several years snd on December 31st while returning from work was taken with a severe fit of coughing and died shortly after arriving at the home of his brother, D. L. Simerson, with whom he has been living for the past three years. His age was 49 years.
Deceased was a cooper by trade and previous to his removal to Osage was engaged in the business here. His late employer at Osage, Frank Sexton, speaks very highly of him as a faithful and efficient workman, one who did his best long after the fatal disease had sapped his strength.
