George Hoover of Chickasaw Township, Chickasaw County, on Monday morning started to take a drove of cattle to ? City, he riding a horse. On the road some of the cattle tried to get away. Mr. Hoover started after them, when in the chase his horse slipped, throwing him and King upon him, partially dislocating his neck, so he died in a few hours. The deceased was a well-known and highly respected citizen, and leaves a wife and one child. We condense from the Nashua News.
