OLESON.
Mrs. Nora Oleson was born at Marengo, Iowa, May 30,1872, and died at her home near Jerico, Iowa, Sept. 22,1900.
Nora Blakeslee, as she will be remembered by many old friends, came with her parents from Marengo to Howard county when a small girl of about 8 years. Here they lived until the spring of 1887, when they moved to Arcadia, Nebraska.
She was married to Andrew Oleson on June 7,1896, and after a short and happy honeymoon, came to to{sic} their home near Jerico. Here they lived in blessed happiness until after ashort illness, the dear Savior called her home, there with the dear sister, who has gone before, to await the coming of her loved ones.
She leaves a father, mother, one sister and two brothers, with husband and three little children to mourn her loss.-
'Tis hard to break the tender cord
When love has bound the heart,
’Tis hard, so hard to speak the words:
Must we forever part?
Dearest loved one we have laid thee
In the peaceful tomb’s embrace,
But thy memory will be cherished
Till we see thy heavenly face.
