Michael R. Huffman, age 69, of Waterloo, Iowa, son of Raymond and Rosemary (Lucey) Huffman, died Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. Michael was born August 14, 1948 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. About 1954 his family moved to New Hampton, Iowa where he graduated from the New Hampton High School in 1966 and furthered his education in Rochester, Minnesota. He was employed with Armstrong Circuit Theaters, operating the Drive-In theaters in Defiance and Bowling Green, Ohio. He moved back to Iowa and was employed with Central States Theater, managing the Burlington Drive-In prior to becoming city manager for Hillcrest Drive-In, Starlight Drive-In, and College Square Cinema.

Michael is survived by his wife, Donna; two sons, Paul (Angelica Tovar) Huffman of Gilbert, Arizona, and Brad (Britney) Huffman of Cedar Falls, Iowa and a daughter, Alex Huffman of Gilbert, Arizona; four grandchildren, Nick, Grace, Nate, and Gabe Huffman; a brother, Dan (Sue)Huffman of New Hampton, Iowa, and a sister, Pat (Dennis) Ruffridge of Cresco, Iowa.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; two brother, Mark and John Huffman, and a sister, Peg Recker. A Celebration of Life Service was held on March 6 and a private family burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
