FREDERICKSBURG - Albert L. Scroggins, 70, Fredericksburg, died at his home of natural causes on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. at Peace United Church of Christ, Fredericksburg.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home, Fredericksburg and one hour prior to services at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; four sons, Charles (Ann) Scroggins, Eugene (Becky) Scroggins, both of New Hampton; Alyn (Jolene) Scroggins, Mescota, MI, Bernard (Janet) Scroggins, Hawkeye; one daughter, Debra (James) Steimel, Waterloo; two sisters, Eva Jelinek, Waterloo and Margery Adams, Vinton; two brothers, Tom Fintel, Waterloo and Don Fintel, Missouri; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Alvin and Lola (Smith) Scroggins; one brother, Richard Scroggins; one sister, Evelyn Scroggins and a grandson, Rusty Scroggins.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
