NEW HAMPTON - Arlene Robrock, 87, rural New Hampton, died Monday, July 24 at her home of cancer.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 28 at the Williamstown United Methodist Church, rural New Hampton, with Rev. Pamela Flanigan officiating. Betty Schmudlach will be organist and will accompany those in attendance singing "How Great Thou Art" ana "In The Garden". The flower committee will be Geraldine Huffman,^ Becky Herrmann, Betty Schmudlach and Joyce Nolte.
Burial will be in the New Hampton Cemetery with Carl Schmidt, Richard Peters, Larry Fenneman, Steve Brown, David Cummings and Mark Lang serving as casket^bearers.
Visitation was from 3-8 .m. Thursday, July 27 at onway Funeral Home in New Hampton and an hour prior to services at the church.
Arlene Robrock was born July 25,1912 in the Williamstown area, the daughter of George and Clara (Kahn) Edgar. She attended the Williamstown rural school. On Aug. 15, 1934 she married Harold William Robrock. After their marriage the couple resided and farmed near Williamstown. She was a lifetime member of the Williamstown Methodist Church and was also a member of the Wapsie Valley Study Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Marlene (Keith) Chambers, Denver, Marcella (Larry) Lage, Prescott,, WZ; three grandsons; one great-grandson; four sisters, Elizabeth (Lloyd) Peters, Fredericksburg, Adeline (Loren) Fenneman and Clara Louise Camey, both of New Hampton, Georgiana (Robert) Lang, Waterloo; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Harold on Jan. 19, 1992; one brother, Robert Edgar Sr.; two sisters, Lucille Hagedorn and Alice Schmidt.
