NEW HAMPTON

Lucille Nosbisch, 82, New Hampton, died Sunday, June 11, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, MN of natural causes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, New Hampton with Rev. Carl Schmitt celebrating the mass. Rev. Fred Rudolph S.V.D. will serve as concelebrant. Placing the pall will be granddaughters: Donna Owens, Angie Jordon, Dede Arnold, Jill Nosbisch and Marcia Nosbisch. Lectors for the service will be John Huegel and Chelsea Belden. Presenting the offertory gifts will be Melissa and Jenny Nosbisch. Eucharistic ministers were daughters-in-law, Cathy and Mary Nosbisch.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, North Washington, with Randy Stolka, D.J. Nosbisch, Mark Nosbisch, Dan Nosbisch, Doug Nosbisch, Don Nosbisch and Mason Nosbisch as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13 after 3 p.m. at Funeral Home in New Hampton where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and 7 p.m. Scripture service. Visitation is also an hour prior to the service at the church.

Lucille was born Dec. 17, 1917 in rural Ionia, the daughter of Joseph and Magdalena (Freidhof) Huegel. She attended St. Mary's Grade School and High School in North Washington. After attending the Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, Lucille taught rural country school for two years. On May 23, 1939 at Immaculate Conception Church in North Washington she married Walter Nosbisch. The couple lived and farmed near North Washington for 40 years before retiring and moving to New Hampton in 1979. Lucille was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Rosary Society and the Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary.

Survivors include four sons: Jim Nosbisch (Cathy), Stewartville, MN, Roger Nosbisch (Paulette), New Hampton, David Nosbisch (Mary), Durand, IL, Glen Nosbisch ("Jo" Cecelia), New Hampton; two daughters: Lois Belden ("Doug" Harlan), Swisher and Jane Nosbisch, Chicago, IL; 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Rita Burgart, New Hampton, Margaret Marion, Cedar Rapids and Ramona Lentz, New Hampton; one sister-in-law, Florentine Huegel, Ionia.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Walter on Oct. 12, 1984, two sons: Mike and Merlin Nosbisch, two brothers: Leonard and Leo Huegel and three sisters: Olivia Orthaus, Clara Huegel and Sr. Mary
