Died.

F. J. Wilkie departed this life on Wednesday, Jun. 15th, 1892. He was a man of unusual good health till stricken by his final sickness, which was brought on by three successive attacks of la grippe. Spinal meningitis set in ten days before the end, and no human effort seemed adequate to a cure.

Fred, as everybody called him, was born in Freeman, DeKalb Co., Ill., and at the age of 17 came with his parents to this township. He was married at the age of 2I to Miss Delia McCormack, who survives him. For the last six years they were residents of Sumner, their home where he died, being on Pleasant street. His age was 36 years, 11 months, and 9 days. The funeral was held at the residence on Thursday, Rev., J. R. Sanford officiating, and burial was made in the family lot in Wilson Grove Cemetery.
