FT. MEYERS, FL - Oren George Larsen, 73, Ft Myers, FL and formerly of New Hampton, died Friday, May 12 after being hospitalized since Feb. 13 for injuries received in a fall.

Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Monday, May 15 at Faith Lutheran Church, Lehigh Acres, FL with Rev. Gerald Vandemark officiating.

Interment was in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.

Oren George Larsen was born March 9,1927 in Colorado City, TX, the son of George and Mabel Larsen. He was a 1945 graduate of New Hampton [igh School. He married Elizabeth Arne on May 23, 1948 at Peace E & R Church in Fredericksburg. Oren taught school for 33 years. He taught in the Tripoli and Clear Lake schools, retiring from Clinton and moving to Alva, FL in 1995. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Moose Lodge in Tice, FL. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and woodworking.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Loren (Linda), Dallas, TX and Larris (Jackie), Milwaukee, WI; five grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, LeRoy.

Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
