Aged Woman Passes Away at Her Home in Fredericksburg Twp.Mrs. Chas. Albee, 89, who had lived in. this community most of her life, died at her home in Fredericksburg township Friday morning after several years of declining health.
Adele McCormick was born Mar. 8, 1858, at Brighton, Kenosha county, Wis. Her parents were William and Catherine McCormick. She came to Iowa in 1874 and lived with her parents on the McCormick farm north of Sumner.
Forty-three Years ago she was married to Chas. Albee. With the exception of 10 Years spent at West Bend, her married life was spent on the farm in Chickasaw county where her death occurred.
Surviving are her husband, one sister, Julia McCormick of Sumner; three brothers, William and Frank of Sumner and Eugene of Bentley, Calif., and several nieces and friends. During her residence at West Bend she was a member of the Presbyterian church at that place.
Funeral services were held at the late home Tuesday afternoon with Rev. J. Wesley Petersen, pastor of the Sumner U. B. church officiating. Interment was in Wilson Grove cemetery.
