NASHUA— Josephine Jensen, 60, Nashua, died of cancer Friday, Nov. 17, 2000 at her sister's home in Waverly., Funeral services were tentatively planned for Monday, Nov. 20 (time pending) at St, John Lutheran Church, Nashua. There was no visitation, the body was cremated.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.

Josephine was born in 1940 to Cecil and Esther (Conner) Fisher. She graduated from Nashua High School in 1958. She married Dean Hammond on Aug. 3, 1958 and was later divorced. She married Donald C. Jensen on Feb. 9, 1971. She had been an employee of Casey's General Store, Nashua.

Survivors include two sons, Bruce Hammond, Charles City and James Jensen, Shell Rock; one daughter, Valerie Rhodus, Nashua; one stepdaughter, Kimberly Jensen, Waterloo; one step-son, Spencer Jensen, Waterloo; two brothers, John Fisher, Nashua and Richard Fisher, North Highland, CA; three sisters, Etna Korinke, Winter, WI, Shari McDonald, Del City, OK and Shirley Soldwisch, Waverly and 13 grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Donald on Aug. 26, 1993 and her parents.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
