NEW HAMPTON — Mary C. Jenn, 93, New Hampton, died Tuesday, May 9 at the New Hampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of natural causes.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 13 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Hampton with Rev. Marvin Salz as celebrant. Con-celebrating will be Rev. Francis Perry of Immaculate Conception Church, North Washington. The pall will be placed on the casket by her daughters. Norbert and William Jenn will lector and daughters, Jane Gibson and Louise Jenn will present the offertory gifts. Ann Bennett will be organist, accompanying the St. Mary's Choir and the Immaculate Conception Men's Choir.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, North Washington, with Francis Zeien, Norman Zeien, Norbert Blocker, Dennis Staudt, Cletus Staudt and Linda Zeien Schmickle as pallbearers.

Visitation is after 3 p.m. Friday, May 12 at Larkin-Martin-Hugeback Funeral Home, New Hampton where there will be a rosary and a 7 p.m. Parish Scripture Service.

Mary was born March 25, 1907 near North Washington, the daughter of George and Catherine (Bach) Zeien. She attended country school. On Nov. 12, 1945, she married William Jenn at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Washington. The couple farmed the Jenn farm near North Washington. William died May 11, 1978. The next spring, Mary moved to her home in New hampton where she lived until August 1999, at which time she became a resident of the New Hampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mary was a former member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Washington and currently a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Rosary Society in New Hampton. Mary enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, reading and working in her garden.

Survivors include four sons, Claire (Betty) Jenn, Racine, WI, Norbert (Betty) Jenn, North Washington, William (Josie) Jenn, Newton, KS, Tom (Cathryn) Jenn, Ionia; four daughters, Leona (Raymond) Rapacz, Argyle, MN, Florence Urbaniak, Kennedy, MN, Louise Jenn, Sioux City, Jane Gibson, Cedar Rapids; 32 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one brother, George (Anna) Zeien, North Washington.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, William; one son, James Jenn in 1954; a grandson, Gary Rapacz; one granddaughter, Terry Jenn; two brothers, John and Jake Zeien; three sisters, Elizabeth Blocker, Anna Zeien and Susan Staudt.
