IONIA — Connie R. (Diesburg) Jenn, 58, Naples, ID, formerly of Ionia, died Sunday, April 9 at her home of natural causes.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 14 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Ionia with the Rev. Francis Perry officiating. Hymns included "Amazing Grace", "How Great Thou Art, "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" and "Precious Lord Take y My Hand" by soloist Bill Roths and organist Loretta Koenigs-feld. Services were also held Tuesday, April 11 in Naples, ID.

Interment was in St. Boniface Cemetery in Ionia with Jeremy Hyke, Dean Robbins, [ Marty Banks, Mark Mooberry, Tom Maulsby and Mark Mowrer as pallbearers and Steve Schulz, Derek Mooberry, Jim Mooberry, Kurt Popp and Bob Hackman as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation was from 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 13 at the Ionia Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m.

Connie was born on Jan. 13, 1942 in Charles City, the daughter of Clinton and Louise (Daily) Mooberry. Connie grew up on a farm north of Floyd and graduated from Charles City High School.

On Feb. 13,1960 she married Cletus Diesburg in Osage. Cletus died Dec. 5, 1986. Connie was employed by St. Joseph Community Hospital in New Hampton and was a former member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Ionia.

On April 14, 1995 she married Vem Jenn in Reno, NV and resided in Naples, ID for the last four years. Connie enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Vern, Naples, ID; four sons, David (Judy) Diesburg, Charles City, Michael (Gretchen) Diesburg, Charleston, SC, Troy Diesburg, Charles City and Charles Diesburg, Ionia; one daughter, Lora (Paul) Lokenvitz, Ionia; two step-daughters, Lisa Abbinante and Connie Streek, both of Tucson, AZ; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Gerald Mooberry, Okahumpka, FL, Dale Mooberry, Osage and William Mooberry, Charles City; and two sisters, Janice Robbins, Ionia and Barbara Lensing, Charles City.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Cletus; her parents; a brother, Dennis Mooberry; and a sister, Sharon Maulsby.
