EVANSDALE - Marshall "Keith" Huffman, 78, Evansdale, formerly of Chickasaw County, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000 at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo of natural causes.

Funeral services were 10:30 aim. Wednesday, Aug. 16 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Evansdale.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery at Charles City.

Visitation was Tuesday, Aug. 15 at Chenoweth & Son . Funeral Home in Nashua with a 4 p.m. Rosary and also one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Marshall "Keith" Huffman was born in Chickasaw County on July 31, 1922, the son of Marshall and Blanche Huffman. He graduated from Ionia High School in 1939. He married Ruth Hagarty. He retired from Rath Packing in Waterloo and operated a bait and tackle shop in Evansdale where he also repaired sewing machines.

Surviving are one son, Daryl (Angie) Huffman, Grundy Center; two grandsons; one sister, Lucille Dodge, Washington; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Huffman, California, Betty Huffman, South Dakota.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Ruth on July 28, 1997; his parents; two brothers, Bill Huffman and Marion Huffman.
