NASHUA -- Bertha E. Hirsch, 90, Nashua, died Monday afternoon, Jan. 10 at the Bartel's Lutheran Home in Waverly of natural causes.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14 at St. John Lutheran Church, Nashua.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua.

Visitation was Thursday, Jan. 13 from 3-8 p.m. at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home in Nashua and one hour prior to services at the church.

Bertha E. Littauer was born Nov. 20,1909 in Bremer County, Iowa, the daughter of Otto and Alvma (Stimet) Littauer. She married Edmund E. Hirsch on April 22, 1931 at Waverly. She was employed at the Nashua Cleaners ana at various restaurants in Nashua for 20 years.

Surviving are six daughters and their spouses, Marjorie and Don Dietz and Karen Lee, Waverly, Rosalie and Bob Bainbridge, Corpus Christi, TX, Kathleen and Jerry Jordan, Center Point, Sharon and Herman Hemmen, Dike, Cynthia and Jim Wilken, Nashua; two sons, Roger and Linda Hirsch, Waverly, Donald and Lorene Hirsch, Nashua; 26

Grandchildren; 44 great-grandchilren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Littauer, Charles Citv;

Preceding her in death were her husband, Edmund in 1980; a daughter, Norma Lou Kasemeier in 1978; a grandson, Brad L. Kasemeier; three brothers, Richard Littauer, Ernest Littauer and Edwin Littauer; four sisters, Amanda Harris, Frieda Harnish, Mabel Johnston and Melinda Springer.
