NEW HAMPTON --Pauline H. Folkers, 79, New Hampton, died Tuesday evening, March 21 at the New Hampton Care Center of natural causes.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday, March 26 at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hampton, with Rev. David Bergstrom, and Rev. Carol Christiansen officiating. Edith Kolthoff will be organist and Colleen Busta will be vocalist.

Interment is in the New Hampton Cemetery with Kenneth Miller, Harry Zipse, Tom Bernatz, Doug Strike, Gregg Shattuck, Paul, Mark and Travis Folkers as pallbearers.

Visitation is from 3-8 p.m. Saturday, March 25 at Larkin-Martin-Hugeback Funeral Home, New Hampton, where there will be a 7 p.m. Eastern Star Service and also an hour prior to the services at the church.

Pauline was born in Allison on Jan. 18,1921, the daughter of Chris and Venora (Jones) Cramer. She attended school in Allison and graduated from Allison High School in 1940. On March 15, 1941, she married Galen Folkers in Allison. Pauline was a jail matron and dispatcher for Chickasaw County during the period her husband served as Chickasaw County Sheriff. Memberships include Trinity Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid, Legion Auxiliary and Order of Eastern Star. Pauline enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, playing cards and cribbage.

Survivors include one daughter, Paulette (Roger) Nosbisch, New Hampton; three sons, Jim (Jeannie) Folkers, Lawler, Thomas Folkers and Pat (Val) Folkers, New Hampton; seven grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Galen on Nov. 29, 1999; a son, Dickie Joe in infancy; two brothers, Joe and Francis Cramer.
