FREDERICKSBURG -- Karen L. Cleghorn, 62, Hartford and formerly of Fredericksburg, died Monday, June 26 at Nora Springs Care Center, Nora Springs, of cancer.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 30 at Church of the Brethren, Prairie City.

Inurnment is in Rose Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.

There was no visitation. Reid's Funeral Chapel, Greene, was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cleghorn graduated from NIACC, Mason City, then worked in Des Moines for the Iowa Department of Education and later the Department of Transportation.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Teichert, Elbow Lake, MN and Kathryn Hager, Appleton, MN; two sons, Clark, Carlisle, and Tod, Rockford; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Kyle Douglass, New Hampton.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Don D. on Aug. 8, 1992.
