Harold H. Schuchhardt, age 67 of Alta Vista, Iowa, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Colonial Manor in Elma, Iowa.

Harold Herman Schuchhardt was born on July 28, 1948 to Walter and Leanor (Drewelow) Schuchhardt in New Hampton, Iowa. He attended country school and then New Hampton Schools. At the age of 19, Harold was involved in car accident leaving him paralyzed. He then resided in Alta Vista with his parents. Harold enjoyed playing pool, coached Little League, fishing, playing cards and especially spending time with his family.

Harold is survived by his siblings, Betty (Richard) Venem of Jesup, Iowa, Charles (Valera) Schuchhardt of Unionville, Missouri, Larry (Sarah) Schuchhardt of Garner, Iowa, Richard (Sharon) Schuchhardt of New Hampton and Norman Schuchhardt of Cresco, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Violet; two nephews, Curtis and Ricky and great-nephew, Austin.
