DIED

MOORE – In Williamstown, Chickasaw County, Iowa, August 24, Amos Moore, aged 53 years.

Deceased was a native of Tioga County, New York, and has resided in this state for two years. He was respected for his virtues, having held many offices during his life, all of which he filled with honor and credit to himself and the public. He lived a thorough Jeffersonian Democrat and died in his devotion to the “Union as it was.”
