NEW HAMPTON - Louise C. Moorman, 88, of New Hampton, died Aug. 11, 2005, at her daughter's home near Seattle, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 12, 1916, in Clemons, daughter of Frank and Gladys Elliott Clemons. She married Lloyd Moorman in 1934 in Clemons. He died in 1969.
She graduated from Clemons High School and later worked at various retail stores in New Hampton. After retiring, she was a caretaker for many of the New Hampton residents' children.
Survived by two daughters, Bernadine Spickler of Des Moines, Wash., and Reba Weber of New Hampton; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a daughter-in-law, Anna Marie Moorman of Plainfield; and a son-in-law, John Spickler of Black Diamond, Wash.
Preceded in death by two sons, Leland Sr. and Larry; and a son-in-law, Richard Weber.
Memorial services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Congregational United Church of Christ, New Hampton, with inurnment in the New Hampton Cemetery. Friends may call for an hour before services Saturday at the church. Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home, New Hampton, is in charge of arrangements.
