Alice M. Swinton, 91, of Waterloo, formerly of Nashua, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2001, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center, Waterloo, of natural causes,

Survivors include two sons, Wendell of Des Moines and Glenn of Marble Rock; a daughter, Ellen Ullom of Waterloo; 18 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Harold Usher of Marion and Delbert and Paul Usher, both of Cedar Rapids; and two sisters, Jean Kruse of Center Point and Donna Mittan of Blairstown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W., on Jan. 13, 1985; two sons, John and Lee; and a grandson,

Services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday at The Little Brown Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Nashua; friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home, Nashua, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family, Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center or Cedar Valley Hospice.
