NASHUA - Mattie Junker, 87, of Nashua, died Thursday, April 19, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center, Cedar Falls, of natural causes.
Survivors include two sons, Paul of Big Springs, Texas, and David of Nashua; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anna Schwab of Dumont.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, on Jan. 29, 1978; five brothers, Henry, Paul, Elza, Jacob and John Schwennen; and a sister, Hilda Moore.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Plainfield Baptist Church, with burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, rural Charles City; friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Chenoweth and Funeral Home, Nashua, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Mrs. Junker had been employed as a waitress and cook in the Nashua and Charles City areas.
