NASHUA - Evelyn Potratz, 73, of Nashua, died Friday, April 20, at Mercy Hospital of Franciscan Sisters, Oelwein, of natural causes.

Survivors include two sons, Kevin and Mark, both of Nashua; two daughters, Judy Smith of Oelwein and Mary Adkins of Willow Wood, Ohio; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, LaVerne Staack of Oran; and two sisters, Joanne Heineman of Oran and Helen Cummings of Santa Barbara, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton, on June 6, 1999; and a sister, Arlene Roete.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, both in Nashua; friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Chenoweth and Son Funeral Home, Nashua, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Mrs. Potratz was a nurse at Waverly Municipal Hospital for many years.
