FREDERICKSBURG - Frank Rochford, 94, of Des Moines, formerly of Fredericksburg, died Monday, April 24, 2000, at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, of natural causes.

Survivors include a son, Charles of Oelwein; two daughters, Frances Rochford of Des Moines and Jean Hoffman of Estherville; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Gertrude and Leona Rochford, both of New Hampton, and Mabel Owens of Northridge, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive, in February 1982; an infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth; a grandson; two sisters, Evelyn Rochford and Mary McCormick; and a brother, Eugene.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, both in New Hampton; friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Larkin-Martin-Hugeback Funeral Home, New Hampton, where there will be a 7 p.m. Knights of Columbus rosary and a 7:30 p.m. parish Scripture service.

Mr. Rochford was a retired farmer.
