WAVERLY -- Donald Earl Miller, 75, of Waverly, died at home Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, from complications of lung cancer.

He was born Aug. 11, 1938, in Hampton, son of Earl and Eula DeArmon Miller. On Nov. 16, 1958, he married Dorene Ball at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Waverly.

Donald graduated from Dumont High School in 1957, and then served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Oliver Tractor Works, Charles City, and then went to work for Carnation/Nestle, retiring in 1998.

Survived by his wife; four daughters, Debra (Dennis) Canfield of New Hartford, Dawn (Doug) Leisinger of Waverly, Deanna (Todd) Verdon of Onalaska, Wis., and Donna (Dennis) Sturges of Woodbury, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Max of San Matro, Calif., and Cecil Miller of Roseville, Calif.; and three sisters, Charlotte Maifield of Scottsdale, Ariz., Kathleen Hammon of Richland, Wash., and Phyllis Armstrong of Chamberburg, Pa.

Preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Wayne, Veral, Bob, Alvin, and Carol Miller; and three sisters, Peggy Cook, Beverly Allan and Margaret Miller.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly, with burial in Lynwood Cemetery, Clarksville. Visitation Saturday at the funeral home, with family present from 10 a.m.
